At the recent Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast held at Snapper Rocks, the Quiksilver Foundation kindly handed over a cheque for $3,000 to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation.

On May 5, 2012 thousands of people flocked to Huntington Beach to participate in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides walk and fundraiser. The Quiksilver Foundation helped sponsor the event with t-shirts which helped bring more than 3,000 participants to the beach. The Great Strides walk claims to be the largest charity walk of its kind on the West Coast.
